We would like to introduce ourselves by means of this short story.
We would like to inform you about the origin of the kennel.

" JESTER`S BULLDOGS ".

Our names are Martin and Esther Schootemeijer.

In april 1997 we established our kennel "JESTER`S BULLDOGS " and 
we also announced ourselves as breeders by Engelse Bulldog Club Nederland.

 We choose the name " JESTER`S BULLDOGS " consaously
because the explantion of the word.

Jester means joker and if there is someone who can entertain you
it will be the English Bulldog.

 In 1992 we bought our first English Bulldog called Max, we never thought we would become breeders.We went with Max to a show to see what the judges opinion was of him. It appears that Max did not do it to badly. After this, more shows followed, and our enthousiasme grew and so we had an new hobby.

After we had removed house we had more space wich involved as to buy our
second Bulldog Jamie Lee, who became a new girl friend for Max,
she also did well at show.

Thanks to our interest and enthousiasme we have windend our knowledge
of the breed. In december 1997 our first litter was born.
The names of the dogs are Aislinn and Arvida.
